| Amusements of
America is a 67-year-old, family-owned and
operated company. The company was founded with
the purchase by Anthony Vivona of the Ferris
Wheel from the just completed 1939 New York
World's Fair. His five sons soon became involved
in the operation. Today, over 60 years later,
the business is still operated by the five
Vivona brothers, with several of their sons and
nephews now assuming leadership roles in the
family operation. This family style of
management has proven successful for the Vivonas. |
