Hands-on activities and\nhistorical displays are available throughout the week! \nTuesday 10am – 1pm Explore the importance of the printed word with a bookbinder.\nFind out how books were made at the time of the American Revolution. \nWednesday 10am – 1pm Calling all cannon enthusiasts!!  Check out the Saratoga250\ncannon and learn how it’s fired from the 2nd Continental Artillery Regiment. \nThursday 10am – 1pm: Celebrate 250 years of American Independence! Listen to a\npublic recitation of the Declaration of Independence as it was read aloud in July 1776. \nFriday 10am- 1pm Discover the sounds of the Revolution! Listen to common tunes of\nthe era and discuss how musical tastes evolved. \nSaturday 10am – 1pm What did the Continental Army wear and how was that different\nfrom the British Army? What about the local militias? Find out at the Saratoga250 tent! \nSunday 10am -1pm What’s a milliner? Come check out the fashion trends for\nwomen during the American Revolution and see how they were made!

DESCRIPTION:NYAAC’s Mobile Dairy Experience (MDE) features state-of-the-art technology\, captivating imagery\, and immersive activations for all ages. \nThe 53-foot\, double-expandable trailer is “driven by New York dairy” and was made possible with support from family dairy farms and agriculture partners across the state\, including funding provided through the New York Dairy Promotion Order Advisory Board. \nWhen fully set up\, the trailer transforms into more than 1\,000-square-feet of exhibit space that is a full sensory experience for students\, fairgoers\, and ALL to enjoy. \nThis impactful and unforgettable exhibit is on the road – visiting schools\, fairs\, festivals\, and all sorts of venues to share the facts about dairy!
